In their opening game, Dewar defeated Rachel Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB) 8-5, then went on to lose 8-2 against Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB). Dewar responded with a 9-5 win over Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB). Dewar went on to lose 7-4 against Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Dewar earned 1.170 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Dewar did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dewar ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
