Clark went on to lose 8-3 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Clark responded with a 7-4 win over Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Clark earned 25.037 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Men's National Curling Championship. Clark move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 22.222 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 29th overall with 224.065 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
