To advance to the championship game, Roth won 8-1 over Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN) in the semifinals of the 2017 USA Women's National Curling Championship in Everett, Washington;
 
Roth finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roth lost 4-3 to Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA), then responded with a 5-2 win over Cora Farrell (Blaine, MN). Roth won 9-5 against Jessica Schultz (Saint Paul, MN), then won 15-0 against Becca Wood (Denver, CO). Roth went on to lose 5-3 against Sinclair. Roth responded with a 9-2 win over Cristin Clark (Seattle, WA). Roth won 8-4 against Potter in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the USA Women's National Curling Championship, Roth take home 18.810 world rankings points, remaining in 26th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 12.825 after improving upon their best so far this season. Roth ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 169.970 points earned so far this season.
