Serge Martin (Grande Prairie, AB) is set to play Delia DeJong (Grande Prairie, AB) in the Final of the Peace Tour Championship - Challenge, held January 13 - 15, 2017 in Sexsmith, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Martin won 3-2 over Donald Dumont (Girouxville, AB) in the semifinals
 
Martin finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin lost 4-3 to Dumont, then responded with a 9-1 win over Janet Plante (Grande Prairie, AB). Martin won 7-3 against Marlene Maxwell (Dawson Creek, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
