In their opening game, Stewart defeated Shawn Vereschagin (Saskatoon, SK) 6-3, then won 6-3 against Austin Williamson (Regina, SK) and 8-2 against Jayden Bindig (Wadena, SK). Stewart went on to lose 7-5 against Travis Tokarz (Regina, SK). Stewart responded with a 7-5 win over Sam Wills (Lumsden, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
