In their opening game, McCrady lost 11-6 to Scott Bailey (Dundas, ON), then responded with a 6-3 win over Richard Krell (Waterloo, ON). McCrady went on to lose 8-7 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
