After advancing directly to the championship game, Emma Wallingford (Ottawa, ON) lost 7-6 to Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Junior Women's Provincials, held January 4 - 8, 2017 in Russell, Ontario.

Wallingford responded with a 5-1 win over Sabrina Anderson (London, ON). Wallingford won 12-4 against Breanna Rozon (Guelph, ON), then won 6-3 against Courtney Auld (Toronto, ON). Wallingford went on to lose 9-3 against Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON). Wallingford responded with a 9-4 win over Kim Gannon (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
