Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON) won 7-6 over Emma Wallingford (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Junior Women's Provincials, held January 4 - 8, 2017 in Russell, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Armstrong won 11-9 over Courtney Auld (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2017 Ontario Junior Women's Provincials in Russell, Ontario;
 
Armstrong finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Armstrong lost 6-5 to Wallingford, then responded with a 6-4 win over Sabrina Anderson (London, ON). Armstrong won 8-5 against Chelsea Brandwood (Hamilton, ON), then won 7-5 against Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON) and 4-1 against Kim Gannon (Ottawa, ON). Armstrong won 8-6 against Breanna Rozon (Guelph, ON). Armstrong went on to lose 9-5 against Auld in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 21 of the event schedule, Armstrong did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Armstrong ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
