Tucker Smith (Bismarck, ND) finished 3-3 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Smith defeated Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) 8-5, then went on to lose 8-5 against Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY). Smith lost 8-7 to Bret Jackson (Milford, MI) where Smith responded with a 8-2 win over Darryl Horsman (Tempe, AZ). Smith won 8-7 against Jackson. Smith went on to lose 8-3 against Hunter Clawson (Laurel, MD) in their final qualifying round match.

Smith earned 1.318 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 249th place overall with 11.644 total points. Smith ranks 324th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.989 points earned so far this season.
