Marie-France Larouche (Levis, QC) lost 7-4 to Eve Belisle (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Quebec Scotties, held January 6 - 15, 2017 in Levis, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Larouche won 5-4 over Roxane Perron (Trois-Rivieres, QC) in the semifinals of the 2017 Quebec Scotties in Levis, Quebec;

Larouche finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Larouche defeated Sophie Morissette (Trois-Rivieres, QC) 7-2, then won 8-4 against Helene Pelchat (Valleyfield, QC) and 5-3 against Perron. Larouche won 6-5 against Isabelle Neron (Chicoutimi, QC), then won 11-4 against Camille Lapierre (Montreal, QC). Larouche went on to lose 4-3 against Belisle in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Quebec Scotties, Larouche take home 5.363 world rankings points. For week 22 of the event schedule, Larouche did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
