In their opening game, Goodland defeated Joe Walter (St. Paul, MN) 12-0, then won 7-1 against Tim Risdal (Chaska, MN) and 9-3 against Darrick Kizlyk (Denver, CO). Goodland won 6-3 against David Temple (St. Paul, MN), then won 6-3 against Jason Smith (Blaine, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
