Jeremy Mallais (Saint John, NB) finished 5-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mallais defeated Chris McCann (Fredericton /Junction, NB) 9-3, then won 6-3 against Jason Roach (Saint John, NB) and 8-1 against Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB). Mallais went on to lose 9-2 against Mike Kennedy (Fredericton, NB). Mallais responded with a 9-6 win over Roach. Mallais won 7-1 against Odishaw in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the New Brunswick Tankard Prelims, Mallais take home 7.955 world rankings points. For week 22 of the event schedule, Mallais did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mallais ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
