Chris McCann (Fredericton /Junction, NB) finished 1-3 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCann lost 9-3 to Jeremy Mallais (Saint John, NB), droppimg another game, 7-2 to Ian Mckinley (Moncton, NB) where McCann responded with a 7-3 win over Adam MacDonald (Woodstock, NB). McCann went on to lose 6-1 against Wayne Tallon (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

McCann earned 0.362 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 69 spots the World Ranking Standings into 538th place overall with 0.472 total points. McCann ranks 463rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.362 points earned so far this season.
