Sierra Sutherland (Ottawa, ON) lost 5-3 to Breanna Rozon (Guelph, ON) in the Final of the OJCT Womens Championships, held January 14 - 15, 2017 in St. Thomas, Ontario.
 
Sutherland finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sutherland defeated Camille Daly (Copper Cliff, ON) 7-2, then won 6-2 against Krysta Burns (Sudbury, ON) and 8-3 against Rozon in their final qualifying round match.
