Thunman finished 4-2 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thunman lost 6-0 to Isabella Wrana (Stockholm, SWE), then responded with a 10-4 win over Thea Orefjord (Karlstad, SWE). Thunman won 8-4 against Therese Westman (Danderyd, SWE), then won 6-3 against Emma Moberg (Mjolby, SWE) and 7-6 against Sundberg. Thunman went on to lose 5-4 against Cecilia Fransson (Harnosand, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Thunman earned 0.941 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Thunman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thunman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
