Cameron finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cameron defeated Jeff Wright (Chicago, IL) 6-1, then won 9-2 against Dale Gibbs (St. Paul, MN). Cameron went on to lose 9-3 against Lyle Sieg (Seattle, WA). Cameron responded with a 6-4 win over Bob Leclair (Tempe, AZ) in their final qualifying round match.
