Brent Ross (Harriston, ON) finished 3-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ross lost 4-3 to Cory Heggestad (Stroud, ON), then responded with a 8-3 win over Chris Gardner (Chaffeys Lock, ON). Ross won 9-6 against Connor Duhaime (Cookstown, ON), then won 9-4 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON). Ross went on to lose 8-5 against Heggestad in their final qualifying round match.
