Pewarchuk lost 8-6 to Marla Mallett (Maple Ridge, BC) where Pewarchuk responded with a 7-6 win over Julie Herndier (Surrey, BC). Pewarchuk went on to lose 10-9 against Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC). Pewarchuk responded with a 8-7 win over Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
