Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) finished 4-5 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleiter lost 9-3 to Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 14-0 win over Arthur Siksik (Iqaluit, NU). Kleiter went on to lose 10-5 against Matthew Hall (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Kleiter lost 7-3 to Tanner Horgan (Copper Cliff, NONT) where Kleiter responded with a 7-4 win over Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Kleiter won 14-1 against Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT). Kleiter went on to lose 12-4 against Quebec's Vincent Roberge. Kleiter responded with a 13-2 win over Siksik. Kleiter went on to lose 11-3 against Greg Blyde (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Kleiter earned 1.812 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Kleiter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kleiter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
