Barker lost 6-4 to Nancy Martin (Saskatoon, SK) where Barker responded with a 9-3 win over Mandy Selzer (Balgonie, SK). Barker went on to lose 8-7 against Kim Schneider (Kronau, SK). Barker responded with a 7-4 win over Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK). Barker went on to lose 6-5 against Silvernagle. Barker responded with a 8-6 win over Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Viterra Saskatchewan Scotties Championship title, Barker earned 15.225 world rankings points, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 69th place overall with 88.093 total points. Barker ranks 66th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 52.567 points earned so far this season.
