Martin went on to lose 7-6 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK). Martin responded with a 9-5 win over Kim Schneider (Kronau, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Martin earned 6.525 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Viterra Saskatchewan Scotties, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 74th place overall with 76.566 total points. Martin ranks 58th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 64.325 points earned so far this season.
