Meghan Armit (Winnipeg , MB) 5-3, then went on to lose 8-3 against Lisa Menard (Dauphin, MB). Einarson responded with a 10-3 win over Tiffany McLean (Portage la Prairie, MB). Einarson won 7-3 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB), then won 9-5 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-3 against Michelle Englot (Winnipeg, MB). Einarson went on to lose 10-5 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Einarson earned 5.756 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 10th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.491 after improving upon their best so far this season. Einarson ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 160.943 points earned so far this season.
