Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO) won 9-7 over Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, held January 18 - 22, 2017 in Aberdeen, Scotland.
 
Bryce finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryce defeated Cameron McNay (Lockerbie, SCO) 8-2, then won 10-2 against Ben Cormack (Kinross, SCO) and 7-5 against Whyte. Bryce won 10-2 against Craig Joiner (Forfar, SCO), then won 5-3 against Luke Carson (Lanarkshire, SCO) and 6-3 against James Craik (Forfar, SCO). Bryce won 7-3 against David Baird (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Scottish Curling Junior Championships Championship title, Bryce earned 8.978 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Bryce did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bryce ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
