Cameron McNay (Lockerbie, SCO) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, McNay finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McNay lost 8-2 to Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO), then responded with a 9-8 win over James Craik (Forfar, SCO). McNay went on to lose 7-6 against Luke Carson (Lanarkshire, SCO). McNay responded with a 8-7 win over David Baird (Edinburgh, SCO). McNay went on to lose 6-2 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). McNay responded with a 11-7 win over Ben Cormack (Kinross, SCO). McNay won 8-4 against Craig Joiner (Forfar, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

McNay earned 5.451 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Junior Championships. For week of the event schedule, McNay did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McNay ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
