James Craik (Forfar, SCO) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik defeated Ben Cormack (Kinross, SCO) 11-2, then went on to lose 9-8 against Cameron McNay (Lockerbie, SCO). Craik responded with a 5-4 win over Craig Joiner (Forfar, SCO). Craik went on to lose 7-6 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). Craik lost 6-4 to David Baird (Edinburgh, SCO). Craik lost 6-3 to Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO) where Craik responded with a 7-5 win over Luke Carson (Lanarkshire, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Craik earned 0.577 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Craik did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Craik ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
