Scott Comfort (Wadena, SK) finished 4-3 in the 19-team qualifying round. . Comfort went on to lose 6-5 against Armstrong in their final qualifying round match.

Comfort earned 1.520 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Comfort did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Comfort ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
