Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO) 7-3, then won 10-7 against David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO) and 9-4 against Stuart Taylor (Glasgow, SCO). Hardie won 10-3 against Chay Telfer (Glasgow, SCO). Hardie went on to lose 3-2 against Kyle Smith (Stirling, SCO). Hardie responded with a 6-3 win over Scott Hamilton (Glasgow, SCO). Hardie won 7-5 against Ally Fraser (Inverness, SCO). Hardie went on to lose 9-5 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO). Hardie lost 9-7 to Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hardie earned 8.503 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Hardie did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hardie ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
