Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) lost 7-6 to Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) in the Final of the Swiss Curling Championship, held February 11 - 18, 2017 in Flims, Switzerland.
 
Feltscher finished 8-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Feltscher defeated Lisa Gisler (Bern, SUI) 7-1, then went on to lose 8-7 against Paetz. Feltscher responded with a 9-1 win over Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI). Feltscher won 7-5 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Zurich, SUI), then won 8-6 against Elena Stern (Wetzikon, SUI) and 6-4 against Gisler. Feltscher won 9-4 against Tirinzoni, then won 8-5 against Hegner and 10-2 against Stern. Feltscher went on to lose 6-4 against Paetz in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling Championship, Feltscher take home 22.259 world rankings points. Feltscher move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 20.405 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 16th overall with 366.186 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
