Gisler lost 6-4 to Feltscher where Gisler responded with a 6-4 win over Tirinzoni. Gisler went on to lose 12-5 against Hegner. Gisler responded with a 9-6 win over Stern in their final qualifying round match.

Gisler earned 3.035 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 95th place overall with 56.245 total points. Gisler ranks 88th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.413 points earned so far this season.
