Caitlin Maroldo (Rochester, NY) lost 5-4 to Robert Melville (Wayland, MA) in the Final of the GNCC Mixed Championship, held February 23 - 26, 2017 in Warminster, Pennsylvania. To advance to the championship game, Maroldo won 6-3 over Melvin Shaw (Potomac, MD) in the semifinals of the 2017 GNCC Mixed Championship in Warminster, Pennsylvania;
 
Maroldo finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maroldo defeated Paul Schultz (Burlington, VT) 4-3, then won 5-3 against Murray Jackson (Durham, NC) and 6-4 against Edward Scimia (Bridgeport, CT). Maroldo went on to lose 4-3 against Emily Anderson (Philadelphia, PA) in their final qualifying round match.
