Carlsson won 6-3 against Sundberg. Carlsson went on to lose 7-3 against Lundman. Carlsson responded with a 7-3 win over Norberg in their final qualifying round match.

Carlsson earned 7.268 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Swedish Eliteserien, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 138th place overall with 24.003 total points. Carlsson ranks 167th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.268 points earned so far this season.
