Dana Ferguson/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2017 Canadian Mixed Doubles Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Joanne Courtney/Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2017 Canadian Mixed Doubles Championship in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;
 
Ferguson/Bottcher finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferguson/Bottcher defeated Helen Strong/Wade Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) 9-5, then won 8-4 against Jenn Baxter/Mark Dacey (Dartmouth, NS) and 9-5 against Ashley Quick/Mike Armstrong (Saskatoon, SK). Ferguson/Bottcher won 8-4 against Kaitlyn Lawes/Ryan Fry (Winnipeg, MB), then won 9-1 against Leah Thompson/Charlie Sullivan (Saint John, NB). Ferguson/Bottcher went on to lose 5-3 against Courtney/Carruthers. Ferguson/Bottcher responded with a 6-4 win over Nicole Westlund Stewart/Tyler Stewart (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 34 of the event schedule, Ferguson/Bottcher did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ferguson/Bottcher ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
