Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) lost 6-5 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Masters of Curling, held October 24 - 29, 2017 in Lloydminster, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 6-3 over Eve Muirhead (Perth , SCO) in the semifinals of the 2017 Masters of Curling in Lloydminster, Alberta; and won 7-3 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Masters of Curling in Lloydminster, Alberta;
 
Einarson finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Michelle Englot (Winnipeg, MB) 8-3, then won 7-2 against Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) and 8-4 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). Einarson won 6-1 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Masters of Curling, Einarson take home 64.471 world rankings points along with the $18,000CDN prize, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 9th place overall with 374.261 total points. Einarson ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 208.559 points earned so far this season.
