Scheidegger finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) 7-2, then won 7-4 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) and 7-6 against Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB). Scheidegger went on to lose 8-4 against Jones in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Boost National, Scheidegger take home 60.250 world rankings points along with the $18,000CDN prize, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 8th place overall with 403.877 total points.
