Bottcher went on to lose 8-3 against Charley Thomas (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Home Hardware Road to the Roar Pre-Trials Championship title, Bottcher earned 39.712 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 18th place overall with 280.577 total points. Bottcher ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 124.628 points earned so far this season.
