Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA) won 7-2 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Players' Championship, held April 10 - 15, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Sinclair won 4-3 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2018 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; and won 5-3 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;

Sinclair finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sinclair defeated Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) 7-1, then won 6-5 against Tirinzoni. Sinclair went on to lose 7-4 against Hasselborg. Sinclair responded with a 7-3 win over Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB). Sinclair went on to lose 7-6 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Players' Championship Championship title, Sinclair earned 74.449 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque. Sinclair move up 6 spots after posting a net gain of 55.696 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 9th overall with 483.063 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Sinclair ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 313.087 points earned so far this season.
