Glenn Howard (Islington, ON) lost 8-2 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the Humpty's Champions Cup, held April 24 - 29, 2018 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Howard won 9-5 over Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2018 Humpty's Champions Cup in Calgary, Alberta; and won 7-6 over Rich Ruohonen (Seattle, WA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Humpty's Champions Cup in Calgary, Alberta;

Howard finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) 10-4, then went on to lose 5-3 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). Howard responded with a 6-5 win over Kurt Balderston (Grande Prairie, AB). Howard won 7-5 against Jason Gunnlaugson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Humpty's Champions Cup, Howard take home 57.320 world rankings points along with the $32,000CDN prize, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 16th place overall with 415.072 total points.
