Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) won 7-6 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the Final of the Ashley Home Store Curling Classic, held November 3 - 6, 2017 at the Penticton Curling Club in Penticton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 8-6 over Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2017 Ashley Home Store Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada; and won 4-3 over Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Ashley Home Store Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Koe finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) 8-0, then won 8-4 against Glen Jackson (Victoria, BC) and 5-2 against Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC). Koe went on to lose 6-4 against De Cruz. Koe responded with a 6-2 win over Chris Baier (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ashley Home Store Curling Classic Championship title, Koe earned 54.907 world rankings points along with the $18,800CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 574.837 total points. Koe ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 191.667 points earned so far this season.
