Adam Cseke (Kelowna, BC) lost 4-3 to Jeff Guignard (Vancouver, BC) in the Final of the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, held September 29 - October 2, 2017 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Cseke won 6-4 over Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) in the semifinals
 
Cseke finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cseke defeated Neil Dangerfield (Victoria, BC) 4-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Tardi. Cseke responded with a 8-7 win over Lyle Sieg (New Westminster, BC). Cseke won 5-4 against Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC). Cseke went on to lose 6-0 against Tardi. Cseke responded with a 5-1 win over Sieg in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, Cseke take home 0.000 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize. For week 8 of the event schedule, Cseke did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Cseke ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
