Zappone responded with a 9-8 win over Dawn Watson (Hawarden, WAL). Zappone won 9-1 against Serbia's Dara Gravara-Stojanovic, then won 7-3 against Bulgaria's Marina Yaneva. Zappone went on to lose 8-4 against Gina Aitken (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
