Patti Knezevic (Lake Country, BC) lost 8-5 to Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the Kamloops Crown of Curling, held October 20 - 23, 2017 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Knezevic won 6-5 over Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC) in the semifinals of the 2017 Kamloops Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; and won 7-6 over Lori Olsen (Kamloops, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Kamloops Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Knezevic finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Knezevic defeated Jie Mei (Harbin, CHN) 11-5, then went on to lose 7-3 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC). Knezevic responded with a 10-3 win over Shiela Cowan (Cloverdale, BC). Knezevic won 6-4 against Slattery in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Kamloops Crown of Curling, Knezevic take home 17.920 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 71st place overall with 51.203 total points. Knezevic ranks 66th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.016 points earned so far this season.
