Dufresne won 5-3 against Steve Holdaway (Montreal, QC), then won 7-3 against Susan Froud (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Dufresne earned 6.305 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Challenge de Curling de Gatineau Open, moving up 192 spots the World Ranking Standings into 267th place overall with 6.838 total points. Dufresne ranks 141st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.305 points earned so far this season.
