Einarson finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Mandy Selzer (Balgonie, SK) 6-3, then went on to lose 7-4 against Varnes. Einarson responded with a 7-0 win over Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK). Einarson won 6-3 against Briane Meilleur (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Spider Performance Icebreaker at The Granite Championship title, Einarson earned 26.662 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN first prize cheque, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 15th place overall with 192.364 total points.
