In their opening game, Englot defeated Jackie Dewar (Winnipeg, MB) 6-2, then won 6-2 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-3 against Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB). Englot won 8-4 against Lisa Menard (Winnipeg, MB). Englot went on to lose 6-5 against Robertson in their final qualifying round match.
