Bale finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bale defeated Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) 4-2, then won 5-4 against Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) and 5-4 against Tyler Drews (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the KKP Classic, Bale take home 15.143 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 73rd place overall with 49.35 total points.
