Tanner Lott (Winnipeg Beach, MB) is set to play Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel, held November 3 - 6, 2017 at the Rossmere Golf and Country Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Lott won 1-0 over Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 1-0 over Todd Birr (Blaine, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;

Lott finished 4-1 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lott lost 8-3 to Birr, then responded with a 6-0 win over Curtis McCannell (Winnipeg, MB). Lott won 7-1 against Manitoba's Jordan Smith, then won 6-4 against Grassie and 6-1 against Tyler Drews (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel, Lott take home 15.907 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN prize, moving up 24 spots the World Ranking Standings into 90th place overall with 50.581 total points. Lott ranks 38th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.914 points earned so far this season.
