Jeff Guignard (Vancouver, BC) qualified for the 2017 King Cash Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-4 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster , BC). of the 2017 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;

Guignard finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Guignard defeated Pierce 6-4, then went on to lose 9-2 against Miles Craig (Victoria, BC). Guignard responded with a 9-6 win over Chris Baier (Victoria, BC). Guignard won 5-3 against Thomas Usselman (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Guignard earned 7.671 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the King Cash Spiel. For week 6 of the event schedule, Guignard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Guignard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
