Diane Gushulak (New Westminister, BC) run at the 2017 King Cash Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Sarah Wark (Chilliwack , BC).

In their opening game, Gushulak defeated Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) 7-6, then won 6-3 against Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) and 7-6 against Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC). Gushulak won 6-2 against Kayte Gyles (New Westminster/Cloverdale, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
