Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NONT) won 7-2 over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final of the Gord Carroll Curling Classic, held October 27 - 29, 2017 at the Whitby Curling Club in Whitby, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Fleury won 5-3 over Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN) to advance to the championship game. of the 2017 Gord Carroll Curling Classic in Whitby, Ontario, Canada;
 
Fleury finished 4-0 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fleury defeated Ogasawara 7-5, then won 5-4 against Ontario's Danielle Inglis and 7-1 against Emily Anderson (Broomall, PA). Fleury won 6-5 against Ontario's Courtney Auld in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Gord Carroll Curling Classic Championship title, Fleury earned 25.959 world rankings points along with the $2,200CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Fleury did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fleury ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
