Hewitt/Hewitt went on to lose 11-2 against Haruka Fujii/Go Aoki (Sapporo, JPN). Hewitt/Hewitt lost 9-7 to Oona Kauste/Tomi Rantamaki (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
